Before the streets, there were hills
Long before Anaheim Hills became a planned community, this landscape was open foothill country shaped by ranching, agriculture, and wide natural space.
1943
Louis Nohl acquires the land
In 1943, Louis E. Nohl and his wife acquired large ranch properties in Santa Ana Canyon. The land became known as Nohl Ranch and stretched across thousands of foothill acres.
